Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,
“This is what the Lord of Armies says: Ask the priests for a ruling.
This is what the Lord of heavenly forces says: Go ahead and ask the priests for a ruling:
“Here is what Adonai-Tzva’ot says: ‘Ask the cohanim what the Torah says about this:
to ask the priests for their opinion on the following matters:
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Ask now the priests [concerning] the law, saying,
In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius the king, the word of the Lord came to Aggeus the prophet, saying:
“The Lord All-Powerful commands you to ask the priests what the law says about these things:
The Almighty Lord says, ‘Ask the priests a question about my Law.
This is what the Lord of Armies says. Ask the priests about the law.
“Thus says the Lord of hosts: Ask the priests about the law:
“Thus says the Lord of hosts: Ask the priests about the law:
“This is what the Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; T of hosts] says: ‘Ask the priests ·for a teaching [about the law; for guidance/instruction].
¶ In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the Lord unto the Prophet Haggai, saying,
“This is what the Lord of Armies says: Ask the priests for a decision.
He said, “Ask the priests for a ruling on this question:
“This is what the Lord of Hosts says: Ask the priests for a ruling.
“This is what the Lord of heaven’s armies says: ‘Ask the priests what the teachings say.
“This is what the Lord of the Heavenly Armies says: ‘Ask the priests about what the Law says:
Thus hath the LORD of the hosts said; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,
Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,
Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,
“Thus says Yahweh of hosts, ‘Ask now the priests about the law:
“Thus says Yahweh of hosts: ‘Ask now the priests for a ruling:
“Ask the priests this question about the law:
On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month (again, this was in the second year of Darius), God’s Message came to Haggai: “God-of-the-Angel-Armies speaks: Consult the priests for a ruling. If someone carries a piece of sacred meat in his pocket, meat that is set apart for sacrifice on the altar, and the pocket touches a loaf of bread, a dish of stew, a bottle of wine or oil, or any other food, will these foods be made holy by such contact?” The priests said, “No.”
Thus says the Lord of Hosts: Now ask the priests concerning the law, saying,
“This is what Yahweh Tsebaoth says: Ask the priests for a decision.
Thus says the Lord of hosts: Ask the priests for a ruling:
“The Lord of armies says this: ‘Now ask the priests for a ruling:
“Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘Ask now the priests for a ruling:
Thus says the Lord of hosts: Ask the priests to give a ruling on this.
“This is what the Lord All-Powerful says: ‘Ask the priests for a teaching.
“This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies has said, ‘Ask the priests about the law.
The Lord who rules over all speaks. He says, “Ask the priests what the law says.
“This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Ask the priests what the law says:
‘This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Ask the priests what the law says:
“Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Now, ask the priests concerning the law, saying,
“The Lord of All says, ‘Ask the religious leaders to decide about this:
“This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says. Ask the priests this question about the law:
Thus says the Lord of hosts: Ask the priests for a ruling:
Thus says the Lord of hosts: Ask the priests for a ruling:

Thus saith Hashem Tzva’os; Ask now the kohanim concerning the torah, saying,
“Thus says the Lord of hosts: Ask the priests to decide this question,
“Thus says the Lord of hosts: Ask the priests to decide this question,
“Thus says Adonai-Tzva’ot: ‘Ask now the kohanim for a ruling.
The Eternal, Commander of heavenly armies, told Haggai to ask the priests to explain what the law says about this scenario:
“Yahweh of Armies says: Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,
The Lord God of hosts saith these things, Ask thou priests the law, and say thou, (The Lord God of hosts saith these things, Ask thou the priests about the Law, and say thou,)
Thus said Jehovah of Hosts: `Ask, I pray thee, the priests [of] the law, saying:
